The local Palm Beach ice cream shop has reopened. Sprinkles Ice Cream and Sandwich Shop, reopened after being closed for about six months. It was closed due to damage caused by a fire in August. Investigators determined the cause to be a crimped electrical appliance wire, which Fire-Rescue spokesman Joseph Sekula said was folded over on itself, generating enough heat to set the kitchen area in the back of the shop on fire.
